This Privacy Policy explains how Win That Lotto ("we", "us") handles information when you use WinThatLotto.com (the "Service").
When you scan a ticket, the photo is sent securely to our servers and forwarded to Google Cloud Vision, a third-party optical character recognition service, to read the text. We use the returned text only to identify the game, draw date, and numbers on your ticket. We do not use your photo to identify you.
We do not permanently store your ticket photos. Images may be held briefly in memory or cached temporarily to avoid re-processing an identical scan, and are not retained beyond what is needed to return your result. Google processes images under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Like most websites, we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps, for security and to understand aggregate usage. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to measure how the Service is used — for example which pages are viewed and whether a scan succeeded. These record usage events, not the contents of your ticket. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers; its use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
We display third-party ads to support the Service. Ad partners (for example, Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies. Where required, you will be shown a consent choice for non-essential cookies.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request government IDs, payment details, or Social Security numbers. Never enter such information into this Service.
One qualification, because we would rather be precise than reassuring: several US state privacy laws define a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information broadly enough to cover letting third-party advertising cookies build a profile across sites. The advertising described above can fall within those definitions even though no money changes hands for your data. See your state privacy rights below for how to opt out.
You can use the Service without uploading a photo by entering numbers manually. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data; contact us to make a request.
The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for people in the United States. It covers US lottery games, and prize and tax figures are US-specific. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the US, where privacy protections may differ from those where you live.

The Service is intended for adults of legal lottery-playing age in their jurisdiction and is not directed to children.
