Powerball is drawn three times a week — Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. Each play has five main numbers plus the red Powerball. You win a prize for matching the Powerball alone, all the way up to the jackpot for matching all five numbers plus the Powerball. You don’t need all five to win something.
